Share your camera, microphone, & screen in MS Teams.

Share your camera, microphone, & screen in MS Teams

All issued Student MacBook Airs have the ability for students and staff to share their camera, microphone, and screen in Microsoft Teams.  If your computer is not allowing you to share your camera, microphone, and/or screen on Microsoft Teams, please follow these instructions:

1.) Quit Microsoft Teams Microsoft Teams. About Microsoft Teams. Services, Hide Microsoft Teams, Hide Others, Quit Microsoft Teams
2.) Open System Preferences System-Pfor-OS-X
3.) In System Preferences select and open “Security & Privacy” System Preferences> Security & Privacy
4.) In System Preferences > Security & Privacy select and open the “Privacy” tab Security & Privacy> Privacy Tab

Share your camera

5a.) In the left column of the Privacy tab scroll down until you see “Camera.” Select “Camera” and to the right check the box to give MS Teams Access to your Camera. Camera & Microsoft Teams

Share your microphone

5b.) In the left column of the Privacy tab scroll down until you see “Microphone.” Select “Microphone” and to the right check the box to give MS Teams Access to your Microphone. Microphone & Microsoft Teams

Share your screen

5c.) In the left column of the Privacy tab scroll down until you see “Screen Recording.” Select “Screen Recording” and to the right check the box to give MS Teams Access to your Screen Recording. This will allow you to share your screen in class. Screen Recording & Microsoft Teams

6.) You have now permitted Microsoft Teams to see your Camera, Microphone and/or Share your Screen on your MacBook Air.
