Faculty Class Sponsors
Each class elects a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Class officers plan, organize and orchestrate all activities related to the class. Freshman class officers are elected in the Fall. All others are elected in April. Students interested in running for class representative must collect 25 signatures on a petition for their name to be placed on the ballot.
Students interested in running for class office must be dedicated to the job and be prepared to do work necessary for the class. Most class offices require at least one hour of work per week from September to June. Each senior class officer is required to work an additional 3-5 hours per week for class activities such as the Prom, Senior Picnic, and Graduation.
Students who are interested in running for an SGA office but missed the interest meeting on Monday, September 14, 2020, must reach out to Ms. Meadows for guidance.
Each class sponsors activities such as class picnics and the creation of Homecoming floats. Classes also conduct fund raising projects, such as practice SAT/ACT tests, bake sales, community yard sales, and raffles, to fund their senior year activities. The weeks before Homecoming are busy for all classes, and Spring is a busy time for Seniors. Classes welcome support from parents and guardians.
