PTA Senior Boat Party Class of 2021

This activity is tentative for 2021.

This Graduation night, alcohol/drug-free, Potomac River cruise has been a long-standing tradition at Yorktown and is sponsored by the Yorktown PTA. The evening is filled with entertainment, dancing, food, games and prizes from 9:00 PM – 2:30 AM. Students are transported to and from the dock by school bus.

The Senior Boat Party is a special Graduation Night event that serves two purposes: 1) it gives YHS Seniors a super high school send-off and a last big hurrah with all their classmates; and 2) it gives parents peace of mind knowing that our Seniors are spending graduation night (from 9:00 PM to 2:30 AM) in a safe, chaperoned, alcohol-free environment. The party is held on the recently renovated Spirit of Washington! It docks at the DC Wharf and cruises up and down the Potomac. The party is an exciting evening full of fun that will include two DJs, dancing, casino games, photo booth, raffles and refreshments galore. The rooftop deck features an outdoor foosball table and other games, too!

BoatParty Tickets are $60.  Scholarships are available for any student to whom purchasing a ticket would present a hardship. To request a Scholarship, please visit the Student Activities Office.
