- If the student is enrolled in geometry, students should purchase a graphing calculator or scientific calculator. If a student wishes to buy a calculator, the recommended calculators allowed on all SOL tests and AP Exams are:
Texas Instruments TI-83, TI-83+, TI-84, or TI-84+. - If enrolled in algebra 1, AFDA or algebra 2, calculators can be loaned. Students must provide their own batteries.
