Yorktown offers 35 unique AP courses to help students improve critical thinking skills, gain knowledge on a focused area of content, and have an opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. All students are invited to attend the four All About AP: A Student’s Perspective information sessions in January during Patriot Period in the Atrium. Prospective students will talk with current and former students about available courses to discover the highlights of each AP class, expectations for success, potential challenges and how to overcome them, and examples of course material. Each Wednesday or Friday of the event will feature a selection of AP Course, organized by department. See the schedule below for more specifics.
