Patriots Against Cancer

Patriots Against Cancer club will  create a supportive community of Yorktown students who have been affected by cancer in any way. We are going to educate the Yorktown student body on causes of cancer, types of cancer, and life with cancer. Our club will be a place where everyone feels welcome and able to tell their own stories, as well as learn something new. Our goals are to organize a supply drive for cancer patients; make letters for patients in local hospitals; educate our club members on types of cancer; bring awareness to Yorktown; provide support resources for students with a sick loved one; and overall create a safe community for students who have been affected by cancer.
