Academic Help
What resources are available for academic help?
When students are struggling in a course, there are many resources available to assist them in their learning. Students often arrange to meet with their teachers before school, after school, and at times, during lunch periods, depending upon the teacher’s schedule. In addition, the following labs and study-halls are available after school:
- Math Lab: Tuesday & Thursday 3:05 – 4:05 PM
- Writing Center: Monday & Thursday 3:05 – 4:05 PM
- After-school Study Hall: Monday – Thursday 3:05 – 4:05 PM
English, Math, Social Studies and Science departments will post times and locations for SOL review sessions several weeks before the SOLs at the end of the year. Students in the National Honor Society provide student to student tutoring.
