What type of tests does my child need?

Standards of Learning (SOL) tests are required for graduation in Virginia.

Depending on the student’s grade when entering and his/her number of transfer credits, your child may be required to take an SOL test during one of the test administrations. Your child will be notified of the testing dates.

Testing typically is conducted at the end of the school year.

Do not schedule family vacations before the end of the school year until all testing has been completed.
