The school will be open for Freshmen students to walk their schedules and meet their teachers.

Students in grades 9-11 will take school pictures for the Yearbook through their English classes.

Intervention Counselors will be spearheading this effort through morning announcements and tables at lunch with information and activities that address risk factors, protective factors, staying connected to others, building a support network, and when to ask for help. The annual student and staff SGA Welcome Back BBQ will take place in the bus loop/amphitheater at 6:00 PM.

For parents of seniors, the Counseling Office will be holding a live virtual event via Microsoft Teams to discuss college and career research and the college application process.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions about senior year transitions. Please use this link to join the event.

The APS Office of Special Projects will host a forum to gather input from the community as part of the process to develop the 2024-2030 Strategic Plan. The forum will last approximately 2 hours and is open to the entire community.

A representative from Herff-Jones will be at school on Thursday, October 4, to take orders for Junior and Senior Class rings in the cafeteria lobby during Patriot Period and lunches from 10:50 AM-1:30 PM and after school from 4:00-6:30 PM.
